Sesión De Fotos de Boda en el Bosque de Chapultepec, – Mariano + Becky

MAY 15, 2022

When Carmen contacted me and told they were traveling to Mexico City in May and wanted to have a photoshoot I already new this will be very special and long awaited. Carmen and her partner has been married for 3 years but never had their wedding due to COVID.

“ Our anniversary is coming up and we wanted to take this opportunity to say our vows and take wedding photos. We are looking for a photographer to document when we say our vows and take some memorable photos through Mexico City.”

I wanted to find a special place where the bride and groom could read the vows and feel the spirit of Mexico City, I immediately thought of the Frida Kahlo Park in the most colorful area of Mexico City. We met at Santa Catarina Chapel, one of Mexico's oldest chapels, where vibrant colors meet centuries-old heritage that literally permeates every street in the area.

We took a few shots at the church and moved towards Frida Park. One of the most authentic parks in Mexico city- bright graffiti, mosaic on the wall and a full body sculpture of Frida and Diego. The morning was very calm and there were bugambilia flowers everywhere, they were scattered on the floor and beautifully wrapped around the arch under which the guys were saying vows.

The bride and groom were staying under a beautiful archway, and the soft sunlight illuminated the trees and flower leaves around.

Carmen began to say vows and it was such an intimate and very touching moment when her husband was holding back tears and I felt the same standing behind of the camera.

The cobblestones, colors, authentic cathedrals and atmosphere were absolutely amazing and I am very happy with the result and the memories that will last forever.

I want to show Real Moments
