Romantic and Nostalgic Engagement Photoshoot in Mexico City.
January 7, 2024
Two cultures, 3 languages, 3 countries, one love. Through thousands of kilometers and different time zones, Amadeus and Majo finally met in Mexico City after not seeing each other for several months. Majo is originally. from Mexico and studies in the USA, Amadeus is German and currently lives in Munich. They met several years ago through the Erasmus program and from that moment realized that they were in love with each other. The long distance and time difference never affected their love and this is very inspiring to me.
Mexico City was always the place where they used to meet after months of being apart. So it was very important for them to capture their love in the city in which they spent time together.
We planned our photo shoot for several months, made a mood board and selected locations, chose beautiful places and outfits that the guys were going to wear. I wanted to capture them surrounded by their favorite places.
We met in Condesa and took some action photos in a Mexico City park. I like my photos to feel real and natural and I try to minimize posing.
After that, we headed to the historical center and had a nice break, drinking coffee at the Las Estanquillas Museum, which offers a simply magnificent view.
I want to be more than just a photographer
I want to show Real Moments
telling a story about you through the photographs
Then we stopped at Casa Azulejos, Plaza Munal and many other iconic places and ended our cinematic engagement photo session in Chapultepec Park, watching the beautiful sunset and feeding the birds.
A few days later the guys left for their cities making a promise to see each other very soon, so it was a truly iconic photo shoot and the photographs will forever remain in the memory of that day.
YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL
I want couples to be themselves and feel natural on the most important day!
lets create something together
