WHERE TO MAKE A COUPLE PHOTOSHOOT IN MEXICO CITY?
The best places to take photos in the historic center of CDMX
The architecture in Mexico City is magnificent, and the historic center is the number one place to see and experience the archaeological treasures. See the murals of Diego Riviera, stroll through the old park, have a coffee with the best view of the Palace of Fine Arts, walk along the Zócalo, see the magnificent Post Office and much more…
Photos against the backdrop of architecture are special in the morning when the sun is still soft and the city is not yet so densely populated with people.
The best places to take photos in downtown Coyoacán
The neighborhood with the soul of Frida Kahlo. This area is completely different from other places. See the most ancient cathedrals and wander through the atmospheric streets filled with incredibly beautiful and authentic houses, are you a big lover of colors. If YES, then this area is definitely for you.
I will show you all the hidden tiny streets and you will be surprised how quiet this part of the city can be when you know where to go!
The best places to take photos in Condesa neighborhood
Concentration of green streets and cozy cafes in one of the cutest and friendliest districts of the city!
You have definitely never seen such a number of dogs as in the park Mexico. The atmosphere of relaxation feels everywhere and you should definitely take a walk along the greenest street Amsterdam and enjoy the mix of modernity and history of buildings in art deco style.
Photos in this place always turn out to be somehow special.
The best places to take photos in Chapultepec forest
The giant forest - park, located near Reforma, is one of the most beautiful places in Mexico. With acres of densely populated trees and plants, you won't believe how big they are and how much you can see. Visit the Botanical Garden, the residence of the President Los Pinos, Anthropology Museum or museum of Modern Art. If you love animals, don't forget to check out the zoo, you will definitely be surprised to meet a giant panda.
The park is so huge that even on weekends there are always places where you can have a picnic, go boating, lay on the grass or rent a bike and ride around the park enjoying the view.
I love taking pictures in the area. Chapultepec Park is a very old park that has preserved ancient architecture, poetic fountains and unique places surrounded by perennial plants and trees.
The best places to take photos in Chimalistac neighborhood
The beloved area of Chimalistac is definitely worth discovering all the wonders it hides. Where cobbled streets and large mansions still predominate. Silence reigns in the environment, the sound of cars is almost non-existent, while the streets are usually empty., it is necessary to explore it on foot. Each Chimalistac street offers a different experience.
Most of them are paved with stones and some plaques explaining the events that occurred in them or the history of the colony.
Every building and street here is unique and photographs always come out great, just think about the history and pre-Hispanic atmosphere that the area has!
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A COUPLE PHOTO SESSION?
1. BE YOURSELF
Be yourself, this is the most important tip. These photos are about you and about the story between you and your beloved one.
Enjoy the photoshoot as a couple and live the moment together. That will ensure great photos. You are not trying to copy a perfect pose that you saw on Pinterest. Find out which poses may and may not be for you. It is part of coming prepared. Don't try to achieve perfection, focus on emotions instead of perfection.
2. MAINTAIN A RELAXED ATTITUDE
Remember that a couple photoshoot is about having fun. Don't force yourself to do something you are not. Be yourself and enjoy the company of the two, that is the most important thing.
3. WEAR DIFFERENT CLOTHES WITH YOU
We all have a different style. Think about where the photoshoot will be and the emotions you feel about it. When you bring different outfits, you can change them if necessary. It is also an opportunity to capture different looks.
3. TALK TO YOUR PARTNER
Are you thinking of booking a couple photoshoot? That's great! However, do not forget that it is a matter of two people. Talk to your partner, talk about what you are comfortable with. Some love kissing and candid photos, some like to be more intimate in front of other people. Get on the same page with your partner to avoid awkward moments during the couple photoshoot.
WHAT TO WEAR FOR A COUPLE PHOTO SESSION?
1. WEAR CLOTHING THAT MAKES YOU FEEL CONFIDENT
Don't wear clothes that you would never wear. Stay true to your style. Be yourself, but at your best. The results of the photoshoot with your partner will reflect how you felt during the photoshoot. Make sure you feel safe and relaxed and the pictures will be amazing.
When the style of clothing does not match your personality, you will feel uncomfortable and insecure. It is definitely something to avoid.
2. COMPLEMENT YOUR OUTFITS, MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT REPETITIVE
Ask your partner what he is going to wear. This is how you can complement each other's clothes. By using complementary colors, you can make the final look more interesting. Also try to avoid large patterns on your clothing. These patterns will attract attention and therefore take all attention away from you.
3. THINK ABOUT THE SEASON AND LOCATION
Combine with the location. If you are at the beach, you will probably you’ll feel more comfortable in swimwear. If you find yourself in a snowy place, a light jacket would be great. If you are in your own home, light pajamas and comfortable clothes for the home will be the right thing to do. Try to think about your location and the weather and then dress accordingly.
4. WHICH COLORS TO CHOOSE
Think about the color combinations that best suit your needs. White with white looks fresh and beautiful in nature. Dark colors with white undertones have a beautiful contrast.
Pastel colors and neutral tones works great in the most situations, choose cooler hue or warm colors that match the location or choose one color as the dominant if you are in a very colorful and bright place where the background consists of a different color palette.
Dark clothing makes you look slimmer and helps blend bodies with backgrounds so faces are the most important part of the photo, while light clothing can look beautifully fresh.
